we reserved the outside space for my sonny birthday, my family also remained the weekend in the campplace, the cabins were nice and cozy, we also had a powered site for our camper and a tent place. the. more View all feedback.
We stopped at this restaurant on our way from Taupo to Wellington with the kids, looking for a change from our usual cafe stop in Taihape. It has now become our favorite place to stop when traveling to or from Wellington on a longer journey. The food was delicious, the coffee was fantastic, and the service was excellent. But what really stood out was the abundance of activities to keep the kids entertained and active. The animals were a favorite, very friendly, and there were plenty of games both indoors and outdoors, including a bouncy castle. There was even a fun maze to explore for a small entry fee. Overall, a great stop for families with children.
We stayed in one of the pods, which was cozy and clean. It was a very pleasant stay! The location was also very beautiful. In the morning, we visited the cafe and had a fantastic experience. I had the pancakes, which were delicious, and my partner had the waffles, which were absolutely incredible!
We have visited this restaurant multiple times on our drive from Wellington to Taupo, as it is conveniently located in the middle. The staff are delightful and always provide excellent service with a smile, even when they are busy. Despite the rainy weather today, my daughters enjoyed playing in the outdoor playhouse and watching the birds. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant, especially in the summer when they have a bouncy castle available.
Nice place to stop on a long drive. Plenty of things for the kids to do.. Only thing I didn't like was the smell of the Guys toilets. Overwhelming urine smell reminds me of a night club toilet at 3am.
Great stop off place excellent place for families, lovely children's play area complete with cooney cooney pigs, rooster, bouncy castle etc. Stayed here overnight, camp area beautifully maintained, cute pods as cabins.
