I've been looking for a flavorful pasta sauce without having to add meat. This is it. I need low sodium recipes, so cut salt in half and family tastes dictate less red pepper
I wish I had read the comments before making this! I usually enjoy a good kick but I followed the recipe to a T and it was way too spicy for me.
It was great! Added more garlic, red pepper flakes and Old Bay Seasoning (instead of salt). Also added fresh basil and oregano.
