The service was extremely fast, so don't hesitate to go on a Friday night.

We ate in the bar section of the restaurant a few times in the evening during our four day stay. The restaurant section always seemed to be full or there was a... read more We ate in the bar section of the restaurant a few times in the evening during our four day stay. The restaurant section always seemed to be full or there was a wait. There are slim pickings around St Mary for restaurants. We walked in then out of a couple of places before returning to the Snowgoose. There was a limited bar menu and at 5pm, the restaurant menu became available. The salads were all good, the bison chili was spicy flavorful, the trout was excellent and the desserts were surprisingly good. They had a couple of excellent beers on tap. Service was generally swift although a couple of times during shift change, we had to go looking for our server. The only disaster was the bison burger grilled to a crisp. I ate mine and my wife sent hers back. The refreshed burger was much better. Trainee chef problems in the kitchen according to our server.
