The staff is friendly and the service is fast with a feeling of no-nonsense efficiency. While sitting around the grill is very popular in this type of restaurant that is bar counter where it is. Some of the best sushi in the city is suggested directly on the other side of the counter.

It was a Friday night and I was surprised to find the restaurant empty. I wish I lived closer so I could make this my go-to Japanese restaurant. I tried the Red Dragon roll and the Volcanic roll, both of which were fantastic. The flavors were perfect and didn't overpower the taste of the fresh fish. The service was excellent - friendly, helpful, and attentive. I also enjoyed a bottle of champagne with a fruity strawberry taste. If you enjoy mixed drinks, you should definitely give it a try - it tasted like a refreshing wine cooler. Whether you're a local or just visiting the Blue Ash area, KanPai is a must-visit. Next time, I'll have to try the Hibachi!
