I quickly dismissed any hopes of the food being good. Let's just say the best part of my experience was the jalapeños and salsa; at least the vinegar helps keep them fresh.

The tortillas and torta bread were stale, and they served tacos topped with raw, old, foul-smelling cabbage, which completely baffled me—I've never seen that before. It made me feel sick that night. To top it all off, there was a very unkempt man wandering around the restaurant. It’s a real shame because this used to be a fantastic ice cream shop.

The food looked and tasted stale, as if it had been prepared a week ago. In hindsight, the Dia de los Muertos decor felt eerily fitting—perhaps a tribute to former patrons? To make matters worse, everything was overpriced. We barely managed to take one or two bites before we had to leave the food behind and find another place to eat.
