Food is good and varied, but certain dishes are very expensive for what they are. I had the Chicken taco salad, and while the idea is great, that was very littl... read more Food is good and varied, but certain dishes are very expensive for what they are. I had the Chicken taco salad, and while the idea is great, that was very little chicken on a big pile of lettuce, the taco bowl seemed old (not as crunchy as should be, which was very disappointing , and the guacamole that came with it was just bland. For £15, that 's a bit steep. Service-wise, it wasn 't bad but our waitress could have scanned the room a bit more in order to realise we needed her attention, forgot to mention that my friend had chosen the salad over the fries with her burger. Speaking of, the salad was a tiny bowl of salad absolutely drenched in sauce, which itself didn 't taste nice (some sort of bland yoghurty dressing . I think that if someone goes for a the healthier option of getting a salad instead of fries, they should probably bring the sauce on the side or at least give the option. We will return cuz we like the place, and had better experiences before, but I think it 's important to convey this feedback :

Felt rushed through the meal and got asked to leave when I hadn’t even finished my food…. But it was a Saturday right? That makes it ok?! Confirmed the booking and let the restaurant know we were on our way from the text messages you receive. We arrived on time and still had to wait for a table, the table was part of the bar area, a very small table that didn’t even have cutlery on it. The service was horrendous. The woman who served us was rude and pretty much stroppy- you could tell she didn’t want to be there. She removed the plates before either of us finished our food, she didn’t even ask. As it was a birthday celebration she did bring some doughnuts over but said she couldn’t sing so lit the candle and walked away but said it was on the house so don’t worry… and again we hadn’t finished eating but the plate got taken away. The waitress proceeded to bring the bill and brought over the card machine before we had even looked at it. Then asked us to leave because the next booking was waiting, after making us wait for our table, barely even finishing our food and the appalling service I would not recommend going. However, the bar staff who served us our drinks whilst we waited for the table were lovely.
