If you're unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, I recommend starting with the thali, which is a great sampler dish. I also highly suggest trying the lamb biryani—it’s fantastic. The naan at Cafe Taj is exceptional; it’s perfectly chewy and has a wonderful ghee aroma. They even have some unique specialty breads, including a delicious tandoori chicken-filled option. Plus, they serve pappadam as an appetizer, which is a lovely addition and quite helpful if you're very hungry.
