My husband had visited this restaurant before and raved over it but indicated it seemed to have changed. Virago’s was good but nothing special and a bit pricy for the product, overall service and presentation. If the food and service better probably would have been fine. We ordered from the regular and premium menu. The lobster shooter was tasty but would have like larger piece of lobster and would have be fine with a higher price. It was just minuscule but delicious. My daughter had the crunchy California roll and said it was ok nothing special and a lot like the one you can get at Kroger for 1/3 price. I didn’t try it. My husband had the sashimi which he said was tasty but nothing special. The presentation wasn’t special either. He said when he had come in the past the presentation was awesome at this restaurant. I had the premium hand hamachi hand roll that had no rice which I loved. We had. AR IOU’s other rolls that were all really good but nothing special for the price. Over all good restaurant and I would return.

We were visiting Nashville for a girls weekend and this resta... read more I was really impressed with the service at Virago. I was there this past weekend with girlfriends. We were visiting Nashville for a girls weekend and this restaurant had been recommended. We had reservations, but when we checked in our table wasn’t ready and we headed to the lounge for some wine. Enjoying each other’s company, we didn’t really mind that we still had to wait 30+ minutes to be seated. However, after a great meal and friendly service (by Cassidy), the manager came over with our bill letting us know she comped a few things since we had to wait so long and thanking us for our patience. It’s so rare for something like this to happen without a customer complaint (which we did not give) so I thought this spoke volumes about the level of service Virago is looking to uphold. I would definitely go back!
