Chickpea in Whistler has been a must-visit spot with its famous cinnamon buns, but recent reviews mention disappointment in shrinking and hardening buns, along with a decline in menu options and quality. Despite this, the cozy, efficient, and conveniently located restaurant still has loyal fans for its delicious stew, gluten-free options, and friendly service. The small lodge provides a warm and welcoming stop for a snack or lunch while enjoying a day of skiing with great views and atmosphere. Overall, Chickpea offers a mix of hits and misses, making it worth a visit for its cinnamon buns and more.

This restaurant is perfect for cinnamon rolls and coffee, not to mention their delicious tomato soup. It's a great spot to sit and watch skiers coming down Upper Whisky Jack. The staff is always friendly to customers.

Unfortunately, the cinnamon balls at Chickpea have shrunk in size and are now hard. This was a disappointment for us, as we always made sure to visit Chickpea multiple times during our annual two-week trip to Whistler. After our first visit this year, we did not return. It is sad to say that this has been one of the highlights of our holiday for the past 15 years.

Return to this restaurant after a while very poor: away were the really good Wild Turkey Nams, away were the quality pizzas, away was the ability to pay money now just another quick food outlet without great quality at all... and all ridiculously expensive; a demolition in my view

But others love this place. It's almost got cult status with some. Yes they have the best cinnabuns but seriously how many of those can one person eat in a season.Chick pea stew is fine as are the other hearty stews, Mac and cheese is ordinary and I am not a pizza / calzone fan so always struggle to find something to eat.Yes it's small and therefor cosy but really not special in anyway. It would be great if the outside BBQ was reinstated on sunny days. Then I would be a fan

This charming restaurant located on the slopes of Whistler is a great alternative to the crowded eateries at the top of the hill. Enjoy a delicious lunch of chili, hot dogs, pizza, and other tasty options. Don't miss out on their fantastic cinnamon balls!
