Not sure if this place has changed hands because my boyfriend remembered it as very good. Called here looking forward to a fry up, the salt, pepper etc on the table was grimy that should have put us off. Ordered big breakfasts, it was...so bad we both only had a couple of mouthfuls. They do not offer a veggie option so had to give my meat to other half, the sausage looked like the cheapest possible sausage, cheap nasty beans, toms, toast with what looked like Margarine and a very sad looking smiley face potato. There was nothing nice about it. Also decor very old and tired.

Promised a lot, service and cafe good and nice, food a bit chewy as if microwaved or been standing, prices about par for the course

I have eaten here several times and have always been impressed with the efficient and friendly service, extensive menu, tasty piping-hot food and generous portions. Treated my dad here for lunch and it was his first visit. He agrees that it is great value for...money. Just don’t be put off if it looks full as there are more seats upstairs and outside.

Lovely place for lunch somewhere I had always walked past but never went into me and my friend sat downstairs and I was thoroughly impressed with the service.

One of Wrexham tucked away places to stop for a cuppa. Was served a pot of tea which filled a medium sized cup twice. Great value and lovely friendly staff
