Kroger Bakery - Brandenburg

Today was the first time I've seen the shelves fully stocked and the store clean since before Covid. Do you know why? The corporate executives were visiting this location. It's disappointing that they only make an effort for corporate visits and not for everyday customers. I really wish they had more cashiers available to speed up the checkout process.

I also ordered matching Paw Patrol cupcakes. When the manager went to retrieve them from the freezer, she asked what color icing I wanted. I mentioned I just wanted them to match the cake, only to find out they were out of Paw Patrol decorations. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, who agreed that the cake looked terrible and offered to remake it. Unfortunately, since the party was in just two hours, I didn’t have time to wait for a new cake. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I cannot recommend Kroger’s bakery. Oh, and to make matters worse, there were flies all over the cakes being prepared that morning.

The Kroger deli is fantastic! I just picked up a 24-piece box of fried chicken from there, and it was excellent! You really can't beat the price! Goodbye, KFC! The woman working there deserves a huge commendation for her hard work. She was handling everything on Derby Day/Mother's Day all by herself, and she was doing an amazing job. I really appreciate Kroger!

Time to start carrying the cooler into Louisville to grocery shop. Most of what was on my list they were out of, again. I'm done

Was in the store today and I walked by a pallet and a metal cart loaded down with sausage, deli meats and such. During the time, 20 minutes I was in the store, not one person had been putting the product in the coolers. I felt the boxes that was warm to the touch. When I got home 20 minutes later I called and asked for a manager and a lady answered and when I asked her about the health department rules on how long refrigerated product could be left out before it is deemed unsafe for customers she had no clue. She said she would look into it. I have worked in grocery before and when I told her she said oh yeah. Just want everyone to know that this is our local Kroger that is putting everyone’s health at risk!!
