The Second Cafe - Etterbeek

We ordered cocktails in their happy hour which took over half an hour to arrive. Once the drinks did arrive one drink was incorrect. We then waited another 15 mins for the final cocktail. After a complaint we finally got the final cocktail. It was the worst cocktail I have ever had. The juice was cheap, the ice (that was there) was very poor quality. However, the restaurant did appear to only have two members of staff on duty (one was a waiter, the other was the bar staff) which may have affected their service but the quality of the products should have not been affected by this.

Great place for an afterwork beer. They have gluten-free beer, food (but you can also grab some frites de maison aintoine and sometimes they organise great parties!

The most terrible and useless place in Brussels. You wait for your salad 1 hour and then they bring two bowls with salda leaves from the packet and two pieces of chevre (although according to menu there should also be lardons, pommes, sesame, raisins, etc. . And that salad costs 12.50 eur. Absolute rip off.

You can take your fries from the nearest frietkot with you for a good drink.

The Second is a classic cafe with great service and location. They have a kitchen but friture are also accepted.
