The Ugly Irishman - Hoboken

Came for 2 mix drinks and got diluted seltzer water drinks for $34. Music was just straight bass for 20 minutes. Definitely better bars in Hoboken, not going back.

Came here for the Hoboken Halloween Bar Crawl, super disappointing, it 's a complete scam. Me and my friends came here after a bar kicked everyone out to clean for an hour without giving a notice ahead of time. We hoped to have a better time here. Unfortunately we didn 't. We waited in line for an HOUR in the rain, only to find out at the door we needed to pay for a $20 entrance fee per person CASH the bouncer said. No one told us anything, no signs indicating a fee, nothing. If it was like $5, alright whatever. But $20??? My group had already spend mad money for drinks, that s adds up! Asking $20 is not reasonable, the bouncer 's excuse was that everyone else is doing it like seriously??.... I suspect the bouncer was just pocketing it for himself because my bf has been here before and has never had to pay $20 cash at the door . After this experience none of us are ever going here again. Ridiculous. I had several issues with the event from them not honoring the wristbands for admission- staff at bars said it only works till 8pm when nowhere on the site or email does it say that. Majority of the night was wasted waiting in line, only went to two bars, technically one because we couldn 't get into this one.. I would not recommend going to the bar crawl or this bar, avoid this place and the event. I never write such bad reviews but I can 't ignore something like this. Save your money and go elsewhere, especially on Halloween.

The bar is part of Halloween bar crawl and is not supposed to charge cover if you paid for wrist band. Owner or manger said too bad. $10 or don’t come in. Scam

Beware of this place. They agreed to be part of Hoboken crawl. Should be no cover with wrist band. Owner was rude and said he didn't care. Still charged $10 cover
