Yangs Kitchen - Kerhonkson

We get Chinese take-out on days when we arrive at a new camp, after set up. This place was better than some, but nothing really special. With all the signs they had up about mask wearing, it would've been nice to see the others waiting for food to be wearing masks like me.

I had a great experience with the fast service at this restaurant. I visited twice for the lunch special, and both times my food was ready in under 10 minutes, which is excellent for a half-hour lunch break. The food is tasty, although I found the pork fried rice lacking compared to what it used to be. The staff has always been friendly, too. It would be a nice touch if the lunch special included an egg roll or at least a drink. Overall, a good spot!

Room for improvement... Unfortunately, I had to spit out my food and ended up throwing it away. The broccoli and chicken had an off taste, the rice contained some hard pieces, and I couldn't even finish the egg roll. I hope this feedback is helpful. As someone who travels frequently and has tried many Chinese restaurants, I have to say this was the worst experience I've had. I’m surprised to see so many positive comments; it seems like many of you may not have explored other options.

The restaurant is clean with excellent service. All their equipment is always well-maintained, and the food is superior to that of many other establishments. This isn’t just favoritism; it's a fact.

Good food at a good price. Been going there for years. Absolutely worth the trip if you like either American or Traditional Chinese food.
