Slyman's Tavern Mentor

Heard so much about Slymans over the years and was excited to finally visit the Mentor location. Since I am not a corned beef fan I opted for turkey sandwich. I am sorry to say it was such a disappointment. It did have a good amount of turkey, unfortunately it was quite dry, but what really turned me off was the bread. Plain old regular sliced white bread! Now for a 15.00 sandwich I expected a nice hearty bread that paired well with the meat, as well as the price. All it did was stick to the roof of my mouth and choked me on the dry turkey. For that price, I could have made my own sandwich at home with better ingredients. Super disappointed and not happy I spent that kind of money. Sorry won't ever go back.

They have managed to screw up our order the ast 2X. Being new to Mentor and trying to establish customers- they've managed to chase me away. Close at 8PM and turn off phones at 7:15PM..... was trying to call manager to discuss latest order mistake.... I don't know f we'll be back truthfully.
