Donde Fidel - 4ta. Avenida

Was fun place to people watch , drink cheap beers and listen to salsa music . Tons of pictures on wall of some guy named Fidel.

Right near the Clock tower and Plaza de Aduana is Done Fidel bar. In the evenings, the fill up a corner of the plaza with tables and chairs and turn up the music! Great people watching and a fun place to crowd in with the locals and dance salsa!

So you like salsa? If you are near the Clock entrance, you will hear this bar. The music is classic, the dancing is non-stop, and the beer is cold and currently less than $2.00 (5000 pesos). Kind of crowded inside, but the festivities surge out into the street and into a triangle of tables across from the entrance. Classic pictures cover the walls and the ceiling is covered with musical instruments from times past. The people watching is excellent here, a constant stream of beautiful people strutting their stuff. The horse carriages pass by regularly. If you have never heard Cuban Salsa music, you need to sip a cool one here! I have never eaten here, and didn't realize they even had food!

We were just walking around and came up to where the music was coming from and we got sucked in! Had a blast, many people from everywhere having a good time. Prices were great, right on the table so you knew what to expect.

Came to this place every single night on my trip to Cartagena. The music is awesome and the beers are very cold and cheap.
