Raxaria As Neves - A Coruña

Stumbled upon this amazing, authentic, Galician restaurant this evening. Staff were proud to tell us that the restaurant is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and it is so easy to see why they are still going strong after so many years. Beautiful Galician food paired with perfect wines and served by genuinely lovely people. Highly recommend. Such unimaginable flavor in their delicious pork (the fillet mignon of pork) dish served as cubed pork pieces. Cannot even begin to explain how savory the sauce was! Add some pimientos de Padrón, fantastic potato fries, fresh loaf of one of the best breads I've ever tasted and a HUGE cup of wine and you will have the perfect comida. I also enjoyed the modern art paintings of pigs and the equally artistic placemats. A definite MUST TRY spot in La Coruña.

Went to this PORK restaurant for the comida hour in La Coruña. We had huge cups of delicious local wine and the BEST tasting pork tenderloin pieces I have ever eaten. Definitely worth a trip if you 're in La Coruña. Potato fries (olive oil) and salad were a perfect complement to the meat. Very cute, modern decor with 'Picasso-style ' paintings of pigs.
