Old Fields Barbecue Huntington

Ordered take out last night I haven’t eaten here or had take out since Covid so I’ve been yearning for some good bbq I decided to order and get there in time for it to be right out of the oven. I ordered brisket which I had here prior to Covid and this time ribs and a side of Mac n cheese. As others noted everything is al a carte and cafeteria style when dining in or out that annoys me. It was my first time at Old Fields and the food was pretty good. The only drawback is their cost of items, everything has a separate price and I think they do better with combos (i.e. Chicken w/Collars n cole slaw or Pulled Pork sandwich with Cole Slaw, etc.

Came here on a Saturday night with a friend, parking tends to be a bit of a challenge on the weekends but it didn 't take us long to secure a spot, wait staff was extremely helpful and attentive, food was good overall. We elected to sit outside on the patio since the temps were perfect. I had the brisket and sides of mac cheese and cornbread. We had take-out the first time and liked that so much we went back to eat in person. Everything we ate was great — pulled pork (with several BBQ sauces to choose from), cornbread (really moist and dense), coleslaw and mac cheese. I'm picky about BBQ and this place did not disappoint. And the staff was really nice and helpful on top of all of that.
