The building is some type of former power plant, the architecture makes it look like something out of a fairy tale however. It’s like they are consciously setting the theme because once you are inside the food is other worldly. Healthy options abound and the soups and salads are hearty, healthy and tasty. Follow that up with one of their tasty treats and you will surely leave happy and content.
Very handy for the Abba Museum or Vasa Museum it's located in the park opposite. Access to the cafe is round the back of the park you don't have to pay to get in, the front is the entrance to Cirkus and Zoo. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. Go inside to order and your food is brought to your table. I had a wonderful salmon salad, my friends had sandwiches and we shared a couple of bottles of white wine. Very civilised. Nice terrace area, lovely view. Recommend
During our visit to Djurgarden, we across this beautiful cafe. it was a self service place. We took our ciffee and cake and sat on a nice terrace overlooking pretty garden. It's a great cafe to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding. Worth visiting...
I had a sandwich and of course the brown sweeter bread with nuts is my favorite...wish i could have brought some home with me....a good selection of wine all in all with would be great for Fika as the cakes are very large.
We visited around Midsommar and it said on their website they were open and they even had a chalk board sign up outside saying they were open too, but when you got up to the door there was a sign saying they were closed! We were really looking forward to eating here and came out of our way to visit, but we were left disappointed.
