Shucks: the Louisiana Seafood Restaurant

Shucks was a fun atmosphere to eat. People are very friendly and friendly. The owner of Shucks came to our table and asked how the food was and whether we needed anything. This is first-class service! The food is fabulous! We had crabcakes for appetizers and it was so big that we couldn't eat anything. The crab cake was different from any other crab cake I tasted, there were no Mayonaisse in the recipe. We had fried shrimps and French fries for our entrees. The butterfly shrimps were dipped into a golden dough and roasted to crispy perfection. Fries were well seasoned and roasted to a golden brown. We had so much food left to eat that we had to get a dog bag. I'm going back most definitely!! I recommend Shucks The Louisiana Seafood House for your next culinary experience.

Great service and great food! Our server Kristi went beyond and beyond. The food was excellent from the burnt oysters, appetizers, ducks, desserts. And the bread pudding! This rum sauce touched my soul!!

Had a great meal on the other night with my friends Janet and Lawrence Couvillon. The waiting staff saw all the needs and the appetizers and meals were served warm and fast. It was also a great meeting with the owner a fine master, David Bertrand, who stopped at our table. Thanks Shucks!

Oysters were phenomenal, salty, large and extra cold. Couldn't have been better. Blackberry Margarita was also really good. Kudos to the shrimp slider sample really delicious. Thanks for a great evening. Service was also on the spot!!!

OMG! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of this place. From the the wonderful people and every dish we tried. Got to have the char-broiled oysters. My hubby enjoyed his flounder. I tried the shrimp and grits, crawfish etouffee and grandma's bread pudding. Amazing. Needless to say, I have a to go bag riding in the backseat.
