Manor Bar Restaurant - Abbeyleix

We highly recommend Abbeyliex Manor Hotel. Our wedding didn't go as we had initially planned because of COVID, but thanks to Alex and his team at Abbeyliex Manor, our day turned out even better than we could have hoped for. Our 25 guests and we had an incredible experience! Everything was perfect—the meal, the room setup, and the staff were all outstanding. Thank you once again to Alex and his team. Elizabeth Stephen

When our food arrived, the mashed potatoes, vegetables, and filling were all cold. I brought this to the attention of an employee, who took the food back to the kitchen and brought it out to be microwaved without offering any apology. Additionally, the steak we ordered was completely undercooked in the middle. I understand that if a kitchen is extremely busy, mistakes can happen, but there were only two orders at our table and no one else was dining in at the time. Overall, I was left feeling very disappointed and unhygienic; I'm grateful I had my sanitizer with me. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I highly recommend Abbeyleix Manor. We held our wedding there in November, and I can't praise Alex and his team enough. We booked at the last minute after our original hotel let us down. For a small wedding of 25 guests, Alex and his team catered perfectly to our needs, and the room was fantastic. The food was excellent and served on time, the accommodations were great, and all our guests had a wonderful day.
