Samurai Sushi Grill - Aberdeen

Made a reservation for 7 for a company party. We got there early and were standing waiting for a table. No big deal. we get seated. And they only seat for 6. We let them know, sorry 7. Pur server did the best he could but was not prepared for a table of 7. We had finished all of our appetizers before we even got our waters. Our fancy drinks (lemonade) came out before waters. Food came out. The hot stuff was great for those that got it. The sushi was subpar this go around. The raw fish was room temp. I sent my sushi back and chose not to reorder. I will be back because this was just a large party experience. Sitting at the bar as a couple was great.

This place is one of the few, if any, sushi places in Aberdeen. Coincidently, it is one of the best sushi places I’ve ever been. The sushi is absolutely amazing. Fresh and a hearty portion of it! Their appetizers are great as well. (Try the calamari and the fire bomb! Last but not least, the staff and service are top notch!! I highly recommend!!

I have traveled extensively and have had sushi from all over and I've got to say the Mexican roll and the Westport roll are absolutely phenomenal! Best I've ever had! The miso soup was delicious and not overly seaweed or salty. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant! I'm getting hungry just remembering the delicious food while writing this review! Service was top notch! Will definitely be back as a regular!

Some of the best sushi I've ever had, anywhere. Delicious rolls, generous portions, with great representation of traditional and creative preparations. Try the Angry Tuna and the Avocado Boat! The staff is always welcoming and friendly, definitely sit at the bar and chat with the chef if you have an opportunity.

Coming from Houston, with a wide variety of sushi selections, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. The Sakedon had some of the most amazing salmon sashimi I have had in a long time. Good job!
