Dr Noodles - Aberdeen City

I absolutely love the satay sauce, it is incredibly delicious! I will definitely return and am excited to see that they are expanding to more locations across the country.

The customer service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I ordered chicken noodles with non-spicy coconut sauce, but when I got home and took a bite, I realized they had given me spicy sauce instead. This resulted in me needing to use my inhaler. My 84-year-old mother, who has emphysema and COPD, also had a negative reaction after just one bite and had to use her nebulizer. When I called the restaurant to explain what happened, I was promised a refund that I never received. The two male employees behind the counter were rude, argumentative, and smirked at me instead of taking my complaint seriously. This was the worst service I have ever experienced, and as a loyal customer, I am appalled at how my complaint was handled.

I am extremely angry!! Today, on August 31st, my partner and I decided to have lunch at Dr. Noodle on Upperkirkgate in Aberdeen. My partner loves this place and always has great things to say about it. As for me, being pregnant and not particularly interested, I decided to try their noodles with chicken and soy sauce. Not only did both staff members seem very unfriendly when serving us, but when I found a sharp green piece of plastic in my food, I was beyond upset! I cannot express how distraught I was. It is disappointing that there is no easy way to make a complaint, as there is no contact email, only a postal address provided on the website. Please be cautious and check your food before eating, especially during COVID. Stay safe, everyone.

My daughter and I always enjoyed a meal at Dr Noodles at the top of Union Street, but it's closed now. There is another on Upperkirkgate, but it's not the same.

I love the concept of ordering food just as you like it, so first you order size and believe me, a small box is enough for one person. Then your noodles or rice, then your protein and finally your sauce. Just be careful because the 3 chili sauce is super spicy. Food is tasty. The Union St. shop has closed and has moved behind the Bon Accord now.
