Old Blackfriars - Aberdeen City

I was very impressed with the excellent service and delicious standard pub food at this restaurant. I particularly appreciated how they went above and beyond to accommodate a child at the next table with a gluten allergy. They even provided high-quality crackers as a thoughtful touch. It's a cozy spot where you can escape the last-minute festive shoppers.

Lovely service from Quinn who got us a table even though they were very busy on 16/12/23 and didnt have any at that moment in time, 10mins wait, taken to table, cocktails flowed and the food was brilliant. Staff couldn't have been nicer,helpful and anymore kind to us. Will deffo be returning soon. Thanks for making a Christmas catch up fab

Booked into Old Blackfriars for a meal before heading off to a concert and we were not disappointed! The pub was so welcoming, cosy and full of festive cheer that we decided to choose the Festive Rarebit Burger and Vegan Festive Burger options to get us into the Christmas spirit. You have GOT to head along to Old Blackfriars to try these meals as they were delicious. Absolutely perfect! There were so many tempting options on the menu so we will have to head back soon to try something else next time. Charlie, the Manager, and his team looked after us so well during our visit. Thanks guys! Will definitely be back....soon!

What a great atmosphere, great service, great drinks and a great live act; been here numerous times and always a good time. What's not to like?

Been before and I liked the place this time I stood by the wait here to be seated sign for over 5 mins, a guy at the end of the bar was cleaning glasses he glanced my way a few times In the end I walked out and went to their sister site the old boar.
