Harvester Ghillies Lair Aberdeen

Fun, clean, Great food. This was a great place at the end of a busy day in Aberdeen to rest and refresh. I especially appreciate the attentive staff.

Building is lovely and was easily accessible as we were staying close by. Staff were nice and welcoming. The steak a swings were amazing and the dessert was amazing. We picked the Malbec wine and a bottle with the cap on but open was delivered to us. The wine was ok but I felt that it may have been opened prior to it be served to us.i would have preferred to have been given a sealed bottle. I found the salad bar basic and unexciting. However, I would recommend this place over all for nice staff and good food.

If you are Greek or any other nation meat lover, then you should visit. The food reminds you of a taverna back home. Grilled food, good portions, full range of alcohol, nice place next to the river Dee, and all in affordable prices. So yeah visit it for sure and you will not miss ;

Place went down the hill. Revisited after 3 or 4 years and left disappointed. Starter was ok, but main meal (smoky ribs) was absolutely tasteless. Salad bar was a let down as well. Very basic. Chefs looked very annoyed with their jobs. As in past, price is not a problem but if you looking for tasty food I recommend looking somewhere else. I myself wont be back anytime soon.

Nice, well-priced little place to have lunch at. The free salad bar is always tempting... but I have to restrain myself or I'll not be able to eat my main course, which is always pretty big! Service is good and friendly but sometimes they mishear, so you'd be advised to speak up.
