Barter Theatre - Abingdon

We enjoy going to the theater, and our favorite spot is the Barter Theatre. Despite there being many good theaters in East Tennessee, the Barter stands out in Southwest Virginia. It's worth the two-hour drive to see a production there, especially if Mary Lucy Bivins is in the cast. She is a talented actress who excels in various roles, particularly as Miss Daisy in "Driving Miss Daisy." Make sure not to miss her performance!

Kentucky the early part on bus trip from knoxville loved it so much that I could see my sister and 16-year-old enkelin the next weekend again! the history, occupations and borrowers were amazing!

The Barter Theater is the cultural and artistic gem of southwest Virginia. My wife and I have attended numerous plays and performances here for many years and have never been disappointed. Every show or play we attend always leaves me feeling like it was time well spent and I grew from the experience. Get your tickets and take in one of the plays. You will be glad you did.
