Jaxx Steakhouse - Addison

Best Food Ever. I have been to Jaxx twice but both were on holidays so the menu was limited but the food was excellent. I plan to go again soon to try their regular menu.

GOOD stuff. Good food, good service, with a relaxed atmosphere.<br/ <br/ what I had:<br/ Crab cakes, surf n turf (pepper steak, lobster, jaxx veggies, jaxx potatoes). <br/ <br/ Looking forward to going back!!!

Solid food, stellar service. Went to Jaxx last night for a light dinner. Seated immediately, promptly asked for drink order, brought fresh bread quickly.<br/ <br/ We elected to go light for dinner. I had a salad w/ homemade honey mustard dressing and a cup of the heralded clam chowder. Dinner compadre got the chicken quesadilla appetizer.<br/ <br/ The honey butter served with the fresh bread made it addicting. We had two petite loaves before meal arrived. Dressing on the salad was clearly homemade and fresh.<br/ <br/ The clam chowder easily rivaled any I've had in the Northeast. It was flat out delicious. Waitress said they have folks that will drive an hour and a half just for the clam chowder. That doesn't surprise.<br/ <br/ The quesadilla was tasty, and its presentation was unique and creative. <br/ <br/ Service was top-rate. Very attentive without being smothering. Nothing went unnoticed or undone. Waitstaff could not have been better. <br/ <br/ Will come back when hungrier and give the steak, seafood or pasta dishes a whirl. <br/ <br/ Very good experience at Jaxx. It's located south of Belt Line on Midway about a block to block and a half.

Great upscale casual place. Perhaps the best Clam Chowder in Dallas.I also recommend their Seared Ahi Tuna Salad Appetizer which is large enough to be a lunch or dinner entree.Nice tablecloth service.

Longevity in Addison. Jaxx has been in Addison for years...that alone atests to the food and service. It is always good to great food and the bartenders are always nice. Owners come and go, but the regulars stay. Good HH the over 40 crowd.
