Blefari Caffe & Cucina - Adelaide

Blefari is a local haunt near my work and I like it as it is now well established.  Been there twice for a coffee meeting and each time easy service and coffees quickly served to enable the meeting conversation to happen.  The outlook to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga makes the place, as does having sunlight coming in across Flinders Street.  I admire the staff's well organised work when serving many people in the early morning prework busyness.  A good cafe that adds well to the City.

This is not something that I usually rave about but the sandwiches from Blefari are really good. They use interesting breads with good quality fillings that are generous. Their good coffee goes well with them! Good service even when it's busy.

On a recent visit I admit that all I ordered was a pot of tea, however the tea was cold, there was hardly any milk or sugar/substitute offered with it, and

Just went downstairs to get a Zeppole cake, its stale. Why do I even bother with this place. Go to the Ritz at least its fresh. Never again Blefari!

I have bought many coffees from Blefari and had corporate catering but have not dined in. A recent need for a quick lunch presented an opportunity to try it. There are numerous lunch specials which are really reasonably priced. I opted for the burger and fries. What I received was a very generous plate of burger, fries and salad. The burger was really good and the shoestring fries were crunchy and salty everything a good fry should be. Excellent value.
