Crowne Plaza Adelaide - Redsalt Restaurant

Delicious! We had the duck leg for Entree... the duck was falling off the bone. Had lemon garlic chicken  for main which was juicy and yum. Hubby had the rack of lamb which he asked to be medium rare. Came out more on the rare side but he still said it was delicious. The chocolate indulgence dessert was delicious, a great balanced dessert. The staff were amazing, well dressed, polite and very attentive. The restaurant itself looked a bit outdated. Being part of a hotel, I expected it to be a bit more formal but it was quite a casual atmosphere.

Great ambiance, comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food! I had the wonton soup, chicken lemon and garlic (sorry can't recall the name) and the chocolate indulge, this dessert was the perfect way to end with a nice raspberry sorbet. The only downfall about this place is the food takes ages too come. So be sure to remember this.

If you are staying at Crowne Plaza Adelaide, don't miss this restaurant. The steaks are huge and the King prawns are big. Just don't order rare or even medium rare for the steaks as they are too thick and can be chewy. The menu is good for at least 3 dinners in different configurations. And leave enough room for after dinner drinks and conversations.

After not wanting to travel far for dinner I headed down to happy hour at redsalr bar before heading into the restaurant, I was greeted with a big smile from a young girl named Georgia and nothing was too hard. I asked for a Bailey's and milk but Georgia politely told me that unfortunately there wasn't any left due to the night before which was fine so I ordered a vodka and before I knew the manager had found a bottle of baileys out the back and was given the vodka complementary which was a nice gesture but not expected. I ordered the mushroom risotto which was massive and I battled to eat it all but it was very nice. The complementary bread was also a nice touch, overall I couldn't fault anything! Thank you Georgia and the crew at redsalt!!

I stayed at the Hotel for 10 days Part of my stay buffet breakfasts were included. I had a mixture of room service and dinners in the actual restaurant. I tried the chicken/vegetarian/steak type meals. I enjoyed every meal. The service was efficient ,friendly and professional in both room service and in the restaurant. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and you were spoilt for choice. If you don't dine out a lot I would suggest when ordering dinner just check the description of what comes with your meal. It could be say a steak with green beans for example and that is all you get as per description . Some diners near me were a bit disappointed because they had assumed they got potato or chips and more veg with their meal. I believe you can order sides. I could not fault the quality of the food in either dinner or breakfast or the service. The prices varied from say about $16.00 for entrée thru to the most for steak $42.00. They have a wine menu as well as bar drinks.
