Írjon visszajelzéstFirst time I ate here would have been 30 years ago. This time around I had the Lamb Korma from the Indian Place. It was awful and it wasn't lamb but rather the cheapest cut of old Mutton, chewy & nasty - the Roti was also microwaved and not very nice. On this night there was only 3 places open in a very boring, cold & old setting. The Indian meal wasn't even worth $2 - will not be back.
We are regulars here for a quick cheap Sunday lunch and are surprised that it is not more popular than it is. Don't expect a salubrious dining experience but do expect very good value reasonable quality food served with a smile. I'm not sure the place will be the same when, after decades, the Chinese stall will be closing down after June when the proprietor goes into a well earned retirement. We wish him and his family all the best and will miss his cheery welcome and tasty food.
I have been here a few times recently and every time have had a great experience, The couple who run the Chinese restaurant are lovely, they always make it a pleasant experience and the food is great and cheap, have eaten at the thai restaurant once which was also delicious and cheap, haven't tried the indian restaurant yet, but it smells delicious
Good range of cheap Indian and Asian food done very much in the style of a Hawkers Corner don't set your expectations of the decor too high and you will be right
Had a tindaloo (not a vindaloo) that blew my head off years ago - so watch out for this . Last time a few weeks ago had chicken korma - really bad quality chicken. Still a great place for authentic food thats very tasty.
