Melt Seasalt - Adelaide

This restaurant is amazing and the food was delicious. We went specifically for tacos in the afternoon and found the service and value to be better than expected. The tacos were extremely tasty, possibly the best I've had in Texas, even though it's not in Mexico where Tex-Mex reigns. The drinks were also good, though slightly more expensive than I would have liked. I am planning to come back and hoping for a great experience again, despite being influenced by other reviews. The menu is well thought out and whoever designed it knows what they're doing.

This place is SO good. Was craving a seaside tapas joint with ocean views and it definitely delivered. The service was outstanding, casual but attentive, super friendly staff. Highlight was the chilli and cucumber dressing on the freshest sashimi I’ve ever had, and the smokiness of a chicken taco that I wasn’t expecting and was way delicious. Only minor issue is the price point vs serving size, but nothing to do with the actual quality of the food. Would definitely go again!

Buns slightly larger than one of your glasses lense at $14, no particular taste, other than the signature very salty taste, carried by all dishes, in honour of the place’s name. Tiny portions apply to most dishes. Oil overload, is to be found in anything fried. Presentation doesn’t make up for bad quality, expensive, unpalatable food. To be fair, service has improved by a lot, compared to the previously rude, indifferent staff.

This restaurant is fantastic! While the prices were a bit steep for the portion sizes, the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely return. It's evident that the owner takes great pride in this establishment, as demonstrated by the high quality of the food and outstanding customer service. A special shoutout to our server, Jackie Oliver, who was not only attentive and friendly but also entertaining throughout the evening.
