Shu Tang Chinese - Adelaide

Shu Tang met my high expectations when four of us had dinner here on Monday night 21/06/2021. This restaurant is perfect for entertainment with its impressive high ceilings, elegant interiors, private rooms and ample two-storey seats. We ordered seven dishes to go with steam rice and although no dish was so excellent that it could be called a famous signature dish, each dish was very well cooked and completely delicious. The Shanghainesian onion pancake is thin and crispy and probably the best in Adelaide. We enjoyed the dinner very much and will be back.

I think this maybe one of the best Chinese cuisine in Adelaide. Like nice and taste very delicious. The price is mediocre and accommodating. The dishes presented look very nice... the waiters are nice but giving us customers privacy. Would certainly come here later sometimes.

Szechuan food. Flavoursome and very appealing. Food taste so good. Splendid service. All the staffs are very polite and service is fast.

Good environment and great service although we were asked to leave (in a polite way before 6.30pm because the restaurant sets 1.5 hours for each dining table. Delicious speaking of most of the dishes ordered. Particularly like the stewed beef in sour soup(酸汤肥牛 which is spicy and sour and with crunchy white radish. Pork ribs are tasty. However, the roasted whole fish (barramundi is too salty and covers other flavours of the vegetables and herbs. The desserts are good as well such as the glutinous rice cake with brown sugar caramel(红糖糍粑 and fried sweet corn. Would come again and recommend to others generally speaking.

A beautiful restaurant, great service. The food is good for most parts. The prices are on the higher side though. They also cook fresh seafood right out of the tanks which can be seen from the dining room Not a big fan of the soft shell crab as it hardly tasted of crab, had too much batter. The salt and pepper prawns were better. The hot and sour soup was a huge size enough for about 5 people, and the fish in chilli broth tasted great with the fish melting in the mouth. Good place to go to for special occasions or to entertain someone.
