Ying Chow Chinese Restaurant - Adelaide

Really enjoyed our meal at what a bit of a noble institution must be. the prices were very reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. nothing nice here, but everything is what it should be in a Chinese restaurant. especially loved the fact that the food was really hot- a simple goal that many restaurants did not meet. this place was busy to book safely.

Sent a booking request by messenger but only one answer in Chinese. when we showed up, we were told the answer that they did not make any bookings online. When I asked how to know when my request was sent to English, he just cried. so they have not made a warning of their eating, as we made a wasted journey. I said you didn't at least answer that you were out of the house, but only got another shrug. there are only Chinese.

We arrived late 9pm, on a Monday night, nothing was too much trouble. Great food, great suggestions, small old style restaurant, but would totally recommend!!

Fab Chinese and the Duck to die for. First visit during a surgery stay and won't be the last. Staff very attentive and fed promptly which is a must as a babyboomer.

Second meal for the night as we had to come back here before returning home. Best Chinese food in Adelaide with great service and manners to match super clean authentic great atmosphere in a typical small restaurant. Open late ticks all our...boxes and satisfies the fussy eaters that we are. One of the few Adelaide places that we always come back to. 100% recommend and can not fault.
