Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Adelphi

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant today. The lady who took my order was quite rude, and the service was slow. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect, and I never received my receipt. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 1 out of 5.

This afternoon at 2:30 pm, the cashier seemed extremely distracted; I had to repeat my order four times. The person who handed me my food also forgot to include the salad that I paid for separately. When I asked about it, she still did not provide a fork. It's clear that there is a lack of interest in doing their job properly. The service was terrible, and this isn't the first time I've experienced this. While the food is good, the service leaves much to be desired—very disappointing.

During my second visit, when I reached the window, I remembered another item I wanted to order and asked her to add it. Once again, I was hurried along with comments about "TIME." This time, she insisted that I had to come inside to add the item. There is definitely a professional way to treat customers, and the staff at this Popeyes location seriously lacks in customer service skills. The supervisor this time, Gloria Escobar, had quite a bit to say about "Time" and why I was being rushed—though she was just as hurried as the attendant. She said she would add the item this time, but her attitude was no better. Both instances with them raised my blood pressure and caused me a lot of anxiety. While the food is great, the service certainly adds to the stress. I appreciate the gentleman supervisor for being understanding and professional. However, I am now reluctant to return to this location due to the unprofessional behavior of some of the female employees.

We put in an order 15 minutes before arriving. It wasn’t ready when we arrived, so my husband went in and waited almost 40 minutes for our food! Nearly an hour to put food in a bag if it were a restaurant with table service, an hour wait would be unacceptable. There is no possible excuse for a fast food restaurant to take so long! We are never going back to this Popeyes again. Avoid at all costs!
