If they did not try Sunday roasts, they should really nice home cooked food and fresh veggie. inc cauliflower cheese. recommended!

Not often I scored 5 stars, but this place nailed it. friendly welcome man behind the bar, good selection of real ales, had fish, chips heaped, was well cooked, hot and a good size portion. came with all the condiments, and I had not expected that barman had to check my meal was ok (as I am sure he knew it) but he did! background music varied but not too loud that created a nice warm atmosphere. friendly comfortable pub, all welcome.

Twas good. Not too busy, got the round table in the near corner. Satisfied customer.

Wanted to have a quick pub lunch and this was a good place to be in. On the high street so a good location. Nice, extensive menu. Shrive and the food were both good. Highly recommended.

Well as soon as we walked in we were met with a genuine warm welcome. We asked if they did roast dinner and some customers recommended pigs in blankets...we are so glad we took their advice. Such a Friendly place customers owners and staff ....Extremely attentive team. A-maz-Ing! Highly recommended
