Stella's 467 Doughbox Roadhouse - Afton

My husband and I were seated for about 40 minutes without anyone coming by to take our drink or food orders. As we decided to leave, we heard someone yell "sorry!" as we walked out the door, which felt more like they were relieved to see us go rather than genuinely apologetic. This was a strange way to treat customers, and we won’t be returning.

This is one of the few spots in Afton that is truly worth visiting for a meal and a drink. The women who run the place during my visits have always been incredibly friendly and excellent at what they do. The food here outshines anything else in the area. I will definitely be returning frequently!

We travel 50 miles one way a couple of times a month to dine here. The service is very friendly, including that of the owner. Stella's French Dips are a favorite with our family. Despite the bar-like atmosphere, they are welcoming to families of all ages. Highly recommended!

They don't have much in terms of vegan/vegetarian options on their menu, but Stella was super accommodating and made me a yummy veggie sandwich!

We love Stella's! One of the best places in the valley to eat for sure. Good food and drink in good portions for good prices, and the steampunk theme looks great!
