La plage du golfe - Agde

Accommodation for 2 adults and 11 years old. We sat without reservation on a busy Saturday night. The food is good, the wine is reasonable and the staff very friendly and welcoming (and did not make it hurt... our attempts in French! . The Ylang Ylang ice cream is something. There are cheaper places to eat nearby, but its good location to relax. Recommended.

The setting is superb with a view all the way to the Spanish coast in the distance on a clear day. The inside is somewhat austere, however the comfortable seating outside, weather permitting, is perfect for an aperitif before your meal. The wait staff are...charming and helpful. The food is fresh and very good indeed and there are some excellent local wines.

A great place to chill on the beach. Right on the sand over looking the beautiful sands. The service is quick the drinks are very tasty and the food is brilliant. Very good place to have lunch, dinner or just a drink. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is tasty and well presented. You can stay after lunch on the beach chairs, enjoy the sun, drink and the view. Recommend!!

It was our third visit here, over several years. We have never been disappointed. This time was extra special, having had a pretty awful meal the night before at the highly rated ?why? Bistrologue. The evening sun was setting, bathing everything in pink. The seafood platter...was as magnificent as ever. The service was perfect genial, fast and not over attentive. One word of warning it's not easy to find. Better signs in the car park off which it is situated would help!
