Picchio Rosso - Agerola

We found ourselves at this restaurant on a Tuesday evening when other dining options were closed. We shared some appetizers that were decent and fresh. However, three out of the four main dishes we ordered were disappointing: the steaks were tough and fatty, the grilled fish lacked flavor and was served in a small portion. The pizza was decent. The total bill for two courses (including a shared starter) and some house wine came to 100 euros. When we expressed our concerns, as did another table, the waitress showed no interest in addressing our feedback. We do not recommend dining here.

Food is just ordinary. Rude and grumpy staff. It seems they hate clients. I went there one night with a hiking group, the next day I went back just for a beer and they charged us 8€ for coberto . 8€ for serving one bottle of beer. I call this stealing. Not honest. Avoid this place.

We went there because our 2 other options for Tuesday dinner was closed. The family owners was all around the place but only one waiter was serving the tables. The owners doesn’t seemed friendly at all!! My husband’s first plate option was unavailable, so he had to order another thing. I choose a calzone with salame, ham, cheese, mushrooms and sausage. At the beginning was tasty but than I found some pieces of raw meat!!! Definitely ruined everything! I almost thrown away
