Green Turtle Cafe & Bar - AGNES WATER

We ate here on a one night stopover at "Sandcastles 1770 Resort & motel".The staff were very friendly and professional and the food pppppcould not be faulted.We shared an entree of dukkah coated cauliflower with aioli which was delicious, then I had sweet lips with ratatouille and spinach - the best fish dish I have had in 5 weeks of travelling! My husband had a chorizo, prawn & Napoli sauce fettuccine which he also said was excellent. We then had desserts - creme brûlée for me and brownie for him - both excellent!The food, ambience & staff were excellent! Highly recommended!

The highlight of the evening was the "bread and three homemade dips" starter, which was absolutely delicious (the dips change daily, adding an element of surprise). The bread was heavenly and we couldn't stop eating it. My son's dessert, chosen from a tempting dessert board, was superb with numerous mouth-watering options to choose from. I only wish I had more room to try them all. The staff at Green Turtle were lovely and accommodating, willing to cater to different dietary needs and preferences. They even accommodated off-menu requests without any hesitation. If I had to give one critique, it would be that they should consider adding lamps to the outdoor tables, as we had to use our phones to read the menu. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Green Turtle and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had heard that there was a new chef at the restaurant, so we decided to try the specials rather than choosing from the regular menu. We ordered two pasta specials, the fish special, and a calamari special. All dishes were generously portioned and delicious, with a variety of flavors to savor. The pasta dishes were available in two sizes, making the entree portion perfect for a children's meal. Overall, we had a great experience at the Green Turtle and would definitely recommend it to others. It's worth giving a try!

The food and also the environment was just perfect.They made for me a vegan option and that was a plus! The veggie burger is just perfect with gluten free bread. My friend ate a beef burger. No complains at all.The waitress and also the owner were very polite. For sure a place to come back

Am Osterwochende hatten in der Umgebung leider viele Restaurants geschlossen, also reservierten wir einen Tisch zum Abend essen um 19.30h hier! Es ist kein Scherz, aber wir mussten 1h! lang warten bis wir bedient wurden! Es wurden nicht einmal die Getränke aufgenommen, obwohl ich 2x zur Theke fragen ging ob ich nicht drin bestellen könnte! Sie sagten NEIN, es kommt jemand zum Tisch! Nach einer Stunde kam die Kellnerin und sagte wenn wir wollen das es schnell geht, sollten wir Pizza bestellen, sonst müssen wir noch 1h warten! Sowas erlebt man auch selten! Also entschieden wir uns schnell um für eine Pizza und die schmeckte eh recht akzeptabel! Viele Gäste an den Nebentischen ließen Gerichte auch wieder zurückgehen in die Küche, da dürfte wohl so Einiges schieflaufen!
