Maria's Italian Kitchen - Agoura Hills

I had a lunch special, which included a small Caesar salad for an additional fee. The lunchtime portions were quite generous, but when I received the bill, I realized I had been served a dinner-sized portion and charged accordingly. I didn't complain; it was a mistake, but the meal was so delicious that I ended up taking half of it home for another meal. One slightly awkward moment was when I ordered extras like bread, oil, balsamic vinegar, and chopped garlic. The waiter announced the price for each item, almost as if he were auctioning them off, which made my lunch companion laugh. It would have been better if these extras were simply listed on the menu so customers could see the prices upfront and know what to expect. Overall, the quality of the food and the service made the experience worth it.

I don't recommend this restaurant. We had bruschetta, garlic bread, chicken parmigian and mushroom risotto. Spent over $80 but nothing was really good for this price except the Bruschetta. It was okay. I feel bad about the name of the restaurant that Italian says.

I went to the restaurant with my friends today, hoping to have a nice time. We ordered water and then realized we didn’t have enough time to dive, so we informed the waiter. He responded quite rudely, saying something like, “For your next visit, orders are at the reception.” It was surprising because we were the only customers there, and it felt excessive to be singled out for just sitting at a table and drinking water. The staff continued to stare at us until our food finally arrived. Honestly, it was disappointing, especially since I’m not a 29-year-old working as a server in a casual family business. They should really reconsider their attitude.

I absolutely loved the food, and the service was even better! I went with my father, and we both had a wonderful time.

Outstanding Everything! We chose Maria?s to dine at due to an incident we observed with one of the nicest most professional managers we?ve ever worked with, as Dashers. Happy that we did, as our server Eric was equally impressive with superior service and true knowledge of Maria?s menu and history. Then came the food! Wow! Five star, first class all the way! Most amazing Brussels, truffle fries, bruschetta and pastas! We more than highly recommend Maria?s! Bravo, Eric, Chef and Maria management ! We will be back soon!
