Pizzas are really big (even bigger than ones we’ve had in Naples) and were fine. Had been hoping for a bit more flavour and/or wood fired taste. Noticed other pizzas coming out of kitchen to be more well fired than ours. A half litre of wine and water brought the bill to a very reasonable 43 euros. Complimentary lemon sorbet was nice touch. Staff are very friendly and it’s a nice spot across from the beach.
Wow. As one who cannot have gluten products, this fabulous place is pure heaven. The GF pizza, arancini (oh my lordy, they are good) and the GF made in house pasta are all remarkable. Imagine being able to ask for freshly made GF pasta of your choice. Just make sure you give them notice, a day ahead if possible. I have traveled far and wide and have yet to find a restaurant so dedicated to making both gluten and gluten free diners happy. Oh, did I mention the cannoli??! Amazing. The owners of this family run establishment are insanely kind and the chefs, both father and daughter, are top shelf. I wish I could lure them to Chicago. Trip Advisor deleted my first review, which makes me very unhappy, so I am hoping that doesn't happen again, oh powers that be. Agropoli is a lovely city and Ristorante Pizzeria Anna is not to be missed. You also get the spectacular sunsets as you dine.
Located close to the sea front, this restaurant has a standard offering of pizzas and pasta dishes, all of which were fairly unoriginal. Between the six of us, we ordered various dishes which were fine but nothing special. The pizzas were delivered much quicker than the pasta dishes, which took an inordinate amount of time (I recall seeing a sign that said the restaurant did not have the facilities to cook pasta, so maybe these dishes were made off site, explaining the delay). The service was fine, but very slow to bring over the bill. Perhaps we misunderstood the concept you had to pay at the counter at the back, but it seemed like other tables had their bill brought to them first. Overall, we found this restaurant to be nothing special but perfectly acceptable for an evening meal.
