Metro Diner - Aiken

Quickly becoming one of my favorite placed to grab lunch. The service is almost always great and the food is wonderful. It's not even that pricey.

Delicious! Great service! The host, very attentive. The waiter, Barbara, very kind. The food, fast, hot and with great flavor. I recommend this place.

The service was great. The food was good. The chicken (Chicken and Waffle) was so crispy and good. For some reason I couldn't taste much flavor from the chicken so the syrup with Louisiana hot sauce worked well. The strawberry butter was a disappointment. The butter looks and taste like it came from Sam's Club Shamy Strawberry Honey Butter. I was hoping for real strawberry in the butter. My husband like the chicken pot pie. The fish and chip I had the other day was really crispy. Overall, the price may be on the high end, but the food and service make up for it.

This is our go-to restaurant for Mondays. We consistently enjoy delicious food in a clean and inviting atmosphere. The waitstaff is excellent, but Debbie is our favorite. The portions are generous, and the chicken and waffles are a house favorite. They serve the best grits I've ever had. The specials are always creative, and if anything isn't up to your standards, they'll happily make it right. The only dish I wouldn't reorder is the **** Mary, as it was lacking in flavor and a bit watery. Overall, it's a fantastic place for the whole family to enjoy great food.

This charming modern diner offers an extensive menu with a wide selection of options and daily specials. You can find everything from burgers and sandwiches to meatloaf, fried fish, chicken pot pie, and much more. The food was tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. The house salad was also a fantastic value. The interior is delightful, and they have a sizable bar area as well. Food rating: 4/5.
