Ihop - Alamosa

The service was excellent and the food was tasty; however, my strawberry cheesecake pancakes were missing some cheesecake, and my aunt’s strawberry banana pancakes didn’t have enough bananas. I also found it a bit odd when one of the staff members checked on me while I was in the restroom, although she was nice about it. We received some disapproving looks from other patrons because my aunt, who has intellectual disabilities, was a bit loud. Overall, our experience was decent, but since we live in Albuquerque, we probably won't return anytime soon. However, we might consider coming back if we find ourselves in Alamosa again.

The place is in serious need of better staff. Many customers walked out. Our food was cold, eggs do not taste good if they are cold. The manager on duty did not care about his job.

We waited an hour for our food, despite there being only three other customers in the restaurant, so it wasn't busy at all. We finished our meal in just ten minutes, but then we had to wait another twenty minutes to get our check. Eventually, we went up to the front to let them know we were ready to leave. When the waitress asked about our food, we told her it was cold, and her response was simply, "Really?" instead of offering an apology. It was quite frustrating.

Our waitress, Dylan, was very nice. Everyone in there was pleasant. Food was good and what we asked for. Definitely a nice stop from traveling SO long.
