R.j. Alverson's The Rib Shack - Albany

We have eaten there several times and is very good. Barbecue, burgers and fries are fantastic. Great sides and also outdoor seating. We met the owner and he just needed to know if we were satisfied with the food and we have never been disappointed.

We used The Rib Shack for my baby's 1st bday party we are so happy we did! The pulled pork, potato salad baked beans were all so good! Everyone enjoyed the food so much! The price was not too expensive the service was top notch! We will be usingthem for our future parties!

I have been going to The Rib Shack for a little while now. They have Catered 2 events for the company I work for. On a catering level the first one was for Christmas 2021 and they fed 80 employees. The Rib Shack was on time and set up was perfect. Everyoneenjoyed the food so much that we had them Cater our Family Picnic for work. This time they cooked on site and once again thefood was amazing. On a personal level of going there I had the Jam Burger today and I have fell in love with it. Something aboutthe bacon jam with fried onions and cheese set it off for me. Service is always great in my opinion, staff have a friendly smileand are always making sure you are taken care of.

The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. Definitely recomend it!! I don't recommended the cheese sticks. The service was amazing, so friendly. If you haven't already, make plans to eat there.????

The food is good, especially their brisket w/ vinegar base sauce. Love the pinto beans because it's not sweet, versus the usual baked beans that other BBQ places serve. Customer service is good. Only complaint I have is that they tend to run out of brisketfrom time to time and they've gotten kinda stingy. I still get full though.
