Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Albemarle

At this point, I have zero plans to return. This experience has really pushed me to my limit! Without any resolution, it felt like I just wasted $44. I'm extremely disappointed.

I walked in yesterday to discover the door was unlocked and the "open" sign was on. Unfortunately, the employees were very unfriendly, telling me they were too busy with a large catering order to serve me. This is such poor customer service! As I was leaving, one of the staff members told me to return later. What has happened to good customer service?

The restaurant features a clean and inviting atmosphere. I dined there, and the average cost per person was between $10 and $20. Both the food and service, along with the ambiance, received top marks of 5. I highly recommend trying the Meat Plate!

The brisket was full of flavor, but it had a slightly chewy texture. It's important to slice brisket against the grain!

A candid review: I had one of the worst BBQ experiences I've ever had here. The two-meat combo came with about 6 ounces of meat each, priced at $13.99, and an additional $1 for the dry shredded brisket. The pulled pork seemed overly processed, while the macaroni and cheese tasted like it was straight from a store, like Walmart. To make matters worse, the roll was burnt on top. I won't be returning.
