Hollandaise - Albufeira

What a lovely little place to eat. Staff were all very friendly and nothing is too much for them. Food was lovely. We went twice in the week we were there.

Came here to watch the PSV v Rangers match and to have a evening dinner. Enjoyed great hospitallity from the hosts. Unfortunalely didn't enjoy the match much but the food was really great. Without doubt the best meal we had during our holiday.

My wife, adult daughter I ate here for both lunch evening meals several times over a few days in August. We ate here twice for lunch. On both occasions the staff were excellent as was the food. The hamburgers were excellent and I had the shaorma which was filling and very tasty. I also had the frikadell which was also very tasty. When we went for our evening meal my wife had the chicken skewers which she enjoyed. My daughter had the gypsy style schnitzel which she was very happy with and I had the hunter’s schnitzel which came smothered in a tasty mushroom gravy with small roast potatoes and vegetables which was excellent. All in all this is a great restaurant/bar with friendly helpful staff and a wide and varied menu. The only down side while we were there had nothing to do with the restaurant but was caused by an extremely rude English woman who berated the waiting staff about the condition of the egg on her breakfast after having already shouted at them regarding wanting one large water rather than individual bottles. I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make yourself understood when in a foreign country but that is no excuse for treating waiting staff as lesser individuals.
