Hot Spot Cafe - Albufeira

Nice place to visit. We only had drinks here which were very nice. The menu looked very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely try food here next time we come to Albufeira

Hot Spot Cafe is a great bar I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this sun drenched resort. This is a cool looking bar,a lovely light and airy interior, lovely decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this wonderful bar. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a roasting hot Saturday late afternoon, we sat outside were a very pleasant member of staff served us a beer each,we opted to have that most Portuguese of beers namely bottles of Sagres beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb. My beer was really good, Sagres beer is such a wonderful light and hoppy lager style beer, for the hot climate you get in the Algarve its such a refreshing beer especially when served iced cold as in this bar. As we were pub and bar hopping we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time . Hot Spot Cafe is easy to locate along Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. A great bar,well worth checking out if your in the area.

Ate here several times last year. Ate here for lunch/brunch most days during our 3 weeks holiday this year. Bruno and Annabella, the owners, and Pedro, the chef, have become good friends. Food is excellent; price is really good too. Not 100% guarantee that Bruno will get the order correct every time, but he will happily correct any mistakes. Annabella was not well during our last few days, and stayed at home. However the premises are covered by CCTV which she can view at home, and when she saw us entering the cafe, she phoned and got Bruno to give us his phone so she could speak to us. Fabulous hospitality. Hope to be back in 2020.
