This is one of the best restaurants in the region and we enjoyed a lovely fish dinner here. But as we arrived, the doors were closed, and it took awhile for someone to open. It appeared that this was the second last evening before the restaurant would close for the winter season. The place was nearly full and we were told there was a wait of about an hour before we could be served. However, it took less time than that and although a few items on the menu were unavailable, we had a good meal, and at a reasonable price.

Always a favourite restaurant of ours, traditional Portuguese food, steak or pork on the stone is excellent. Family run with very friendly staff. Check opening times and you should book in advance, but you should not be disapointed

Great food attentive hosts and an enjoyable evening the smoked salmon starter was very nice and the grilled tuna was superb can highly recommend
