Church Street Cafe - Albuquerque

One of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. Unfortunately a bad experience this last week. My food came 20 minutes after the rest of my party, and it was lukewarm.

Typical NM foods can be found everywhere in NM. The waiter made a LOUD crack one of my fellow players about the completion of all their food, asked them if they had not eaten breakfast. We know that it was meant as a joke (maybe) but it was unpleasant and the room in which we eat had great acoustics. Not sure we want to do this again.

Great authentic new Mexican cuisine in beautiful old town Albuquerque. I would recommend everyone. Your location is a historic building and the food is delicious.

This is New Mexican authentic. I ordered the tamales and they were outstaning as well as the pinto Beahan’s. Efficient and friendly service. Great ambiance. A must when you are in Old Town.

The check on experience was disquieting in that we said we had a 3:45 reservation and their response was that they did not take reservations for balloon fiesta week. Nevertheless they found seating for us and the food and service experience was good.
