Range Cafe Rio Grande - Albuquerque

The food was decent, and the service was attentive. My son really enjoyed the bread pudding, while I found the blueberry pie to be just alright. It was meant to be served warm, but unfortunately, the center was cold. They were quite busy, so it could have just been a one-off situation.

My family and I traveled from Denver, Colorado, to attend the balloon festival, but unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and rainy on the day we arrived, so we couldn’t go. Instead, we decided to find a place to eat! I ordered the tortilla stew, and my husband had the chicken-fried steak smothered in green chili gravy. Both dishes were delicious! I also want to highlight that our waiter, Zach, provided fantastic service. He was very attentive and kind, which made our visit enjoyable, even though we missed the balloons. We’ll definitely try again next time!

We eagerly anticipate dining at the Range Cafe every time we visit town. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food is outstanding. We especially love the Green Chile Chicken Enchilada soup and the Huevos Rancheros, but honestly, you can't make a bad choice with any of their menu items. Their pastries are exceptional as well, so you'll have a hard time deciding what to order!

Really cool relaxed atmosphere with very enjoyable artwork. The food was pretty good and the portions were quite large. The deserts looked so good but I just didn’t have any room for them. I recommend trying “The Cure” if you like cocktails; theCheyenne honey is a homemade mix that provides a nice contrasting sweet heat.

That was okay. the service was good. my son loved the brotpudding. my blueberry cake was okay. it should be warm, but it was cold in the middle. they were really busy, so maybe it was a free day.
